1. The Bible (or Scripture in some instances) is its own revealer and critic. The Bible was written by 40 authors over 1500 years. Some of its authors reveal how it was written. 2 Peter 1:20-21; Amos 3:7; Jonah:1; Isaiah 1:1,2; Revelation 1:1-3. What does the Bible say about how it came about?*

4. The Bible provides evidence that God revealed Himself in various ways including through the Bible itsself. According to the Bible what other ways did God reveal Himself? Romans 1:20; Hebrews 1:1,2*
5. The authors in the Bible all believe that the purpose for their writing was to reveal the work of God in the lives of humanity. That is why the Bible is a compilation of stories and encounters with God in the lives of human beings. Therefore to some God tend to be hard and others God appear to be kind and gentle. Reading the Bible within context is the key to understanding God and how His loving character works. What do the following texts explain about the ancient Hebrews understanding about God. 6. Because the Bible reveal so much of God and His character, its important that the true image, knowledge and work of God be taught. What does Scripture advise on how to approach claims made by anybody? Isaiah 8:20; Acts 17: 10,11*

8. Jesus gives guidance to a balanced life that not only benefit from physical needs but that a appetite for moral and spiritual nourishment benefits humans as well. What does Jesus say? Matthew 4:4; 2 Timothy 3:16,17*
